Daimonikos January Book Club Meeting

We will be reading Malleus Maleficarum in portions every month until we make it through the entire book. Disclaimer: this book can be challenging to get through and that is exactly why we posted it as an option for our monthly book vote. We know you can rise to the challenge and expand your knowledge of witchcraft in world history.

Malleus Maleficarum was written in the 16th century by two Dominican friars as a guidebook on “witchcraft” and “witches” and their “deserved” punishments and torture. We read this book to understand our history and what people past have been through; what obstacles and torture they faced. Knowing the dark sides of history is important for the preservation of knowledge and so we can continue to move forward as humans.

If you think you are up to the challenge join us on January 30th at 7 pm for a book discussion! Please RSVP by January 28th

Zoom Meeting ID 378 952 0510 or join us in person at the Daimonikos Studio (rsvp for address).

We are currently reading Part 1, up to page 91/ “Question 5”. If you have any questions please reach out in our group chat on GroupMe. If you aren't yet part of our group chat please reply with your phone number so we can add you!
